Quick answers
Do I need to code?
No. Describe the idea in your own words, then inspect and edit the resulting rules in Strategy Lab.

Pulse and AI credits
Design, questions, assumptions and credit allowances.
What if my idea is incomplete?
Pulse can ask up to 3 questions and labels rules as from you, Assumed or Suggested. Review those assumptions before building.
Is Pulse the market scanner?
No. Pulse is Edge Theory’s AI strategy designer. The separate market tool is labelled Market scanner.
Can Pulse predict a winner?
I can design and explain strategies, but I can't predict or promise results. Once it's built, the engine's simulated backtest shows how the rules would have behaved in the past.
Does designing a Bot start trading?
No. Design, testing, configuration and explicit activation are separate steps.
What does a design cost?
A Describe design uses 4 AI credits for the conversation and checked draft. Follow-up replies in that design are included; the engine produces the simulated backtest.
What happens when credits run out?
You can continue editing existing strategies in Strategy Lab. Wait for your next allowance or choose a credit pack; new AI requests need enough credits and AI availability.
Can I change what Pulse creates?
Yes. The draft opens as editable rules in Strategy Lab. Review and change the logic before testing it again.
Can I run it live?
Supported live execution starts on Pro. Availability depends on the strategy features, Bot and exchange connection. Review supported features before activating.
What does Free include?
Free includes 40 AI credits a month, equivalent to 10 designs at the current cost, the Lab, backtests and 1 simulated bot.
Bots and the Strategy Lab
Inspect rules and monitor your configured bot.
Can I edit the design?
Yes. Open it in the Strategy Lab to inspect and edit its supported blocks, conditions, exits and risk settings. Review a new backtest after changes.
How do I monitor a bot?
Use Activity, Performance and Health to inspect recorded runs, statistics and errors. A last recorded check is not a guarantee that the bot is currently running.
Simulated and live trading
Understand the execution mode before activation.
How is simulated trading different from live?
Simulated orders and balances do not use real funds. Live execution can place real orders through a supported connection when the bot is eligible and explicitly activated.
Which plan supports live trading?
Supported live trading starts on Pro. Exchange and strategy-feature support still apply; a subscription does not enable unsupported features.
Plans and billing
Allowances, purchases and existing subscriptions.
What are the monthly plans?
free: $0 a month, 40 AI credits. pro: $29 a month, 400 AI credits. elite: $59 a month, 1,000 AI credits. exclusive: $89 a month, 2,000 AI credits.
Does the new price change an existing membership?
Existing members keep their current price. Review your actual subscription and renewal in Whop; the public price does not overwrite an existing subscription.
Where do I manage a payment or cancellation?
Use your account billing page and Manage billing in Whop for the current subscription. Contact support if your billing and access do not agree.
Account and privacy
Sign-in, account access and your design context.
What is sent to OpenAI?
The text you type, a short conversation summary, the strategy draft and chosen market, exchange and timeframe. Names, email addresses, account balances and other account details are not sent. Read the Privacy Policy for processing and usage records.
Can support fix account access?
Contact support with the route, error and relevant purchase reference. Never send passwords, API secrets or recovery codes.
Community
Public profiles, source credit and privacy.
Are bots public automatically?
No. Bots are private by default. Owners choose whether to publish a profile or feed activity.
Can I remix a strategy?
Review the published strategy’s access requirements and rules. Keep source credit when creating your own version and configure your bot separately.
